When you choose a product recognized by the U.S. EPA’s Safer Choice program, you are choosing a product that not only works, but is also safer for you, your family, your pets, and the environment.

The U.S. EPA has a set of stringent criteria that products must pass in order to earn the Safer Choice label. To determine if a product meets that criteria, the EPA reviews:
 

• Every ingredient

• Product performance

• Packaging

• pH Level

• Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
